Throwing for Skilled Beginners I $250

Continue your wheel throwing endeavors in Throwing for Skilled Beginners (level1)! This class is designed to move you along in the process of throwing from a beginner level. Students will get a quick refresher on centering, opening, pulling up walls, and trimming. More information on glazing and possibly surface decoration will be provided. Students will learn to increase the amount of clay that they can center, make bigger bowls, make vase and bottle forms, and small plates. This class requires the completion of at least one 6-week Throwing for Beginners course and the knowledge on how to center at least 1.5 lbs of clay independently. Practice outside of class is strongly recommended but not required, and all students registered for this course have access to Independent Studio. First bag of clay and all glazes and firings are included.
