Sewing for Kids- Beginners $120
Ages 9-14
6-Weeks Class

Sewing for Kids is a 6-week introduction to sewing machine use. Participants will not only learn how to thread their machines and how to trouble-shoot, but they will also learn how to make patterns for simple designs and to sew a simple commercial pattern. We will start out by sewing straight lines and grow from there. Most materials will be provided. Fabric for the final project can be purchased by the student. This class is for kids who have never taken this class or kids who want to repeat the same projects for practice.

Participant Withdrawal from Class
A participant who withdraws from a class must inform KAFCC prior to the close of registration for the class to receive a full refund.
A participant who withdraws from a class after the close of registration for the class will receive a refund or credit of 30% of the registration fee.
Long (4, 6 or 8-week) class registration ends one (1) week prior to the start date of that class.
Short (1, 2 or 3-day) workshop and class registration ends three (3) days before class.
Please e-mail ksullivan@knoxvilletn.gov if you need to cancel a class.
