Description:
Explore the art of relief printing by designing and carving your own blocks and stamps. In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of block printing, including image design, carving techniques, ink application, and printing methods. Using easy-to-carve materials, participants will create custom stamps and printing blocks that can be used to make original artwork, greeting cards, gift wrap, fabric prints, and decorative patterns. The class will cover safe tool handling, positive and negative space, repeat pattern design, and creative ways to combine multiple stamps for layered effects. Suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike, this workshop offers a fun introduction to printmaking while providing skills that can be used for a wide variety of creative projects. No prior experience is required.

Participant Withdrawal from Class
A participant who withdraws from a class must inform KAC prior to the close of registration for the class to receive a full refund.
A participant who withdraws from a class after the close of registration for the class will receive a refund or credit of 30% of the registration fee.
Long (4, 6 or 8-week) class registration and SUMMER CAMPS end one (1) week prior to the start date of that class.
Short (1, 2 or 3-day) workshop and class registration ends three (3) days before class.
