Participant Withdrawal from Class
A participant who withdraws from a class must inform KAC prior to the close of registration for the class to receive a full refund.
A participant who withdraws from a class after the close of registration for the class will receive a refund or credit of 30% of the registration fee.
Long (4, 6 or 8-week) class registration and SUMMER CAMPS end one (1) week prior to the start date of that class.
Short (1, 2 or 3-day) workshop and class registration ends three (3) days before class.
Please e-mail kac@knoxvilletn.gov if you need to cancel a class.
To allow your child an optimal learning experience in our Youth Arts & Dance Classes, parents may drop children off no earlier than 15 minutes prior to class start time and pick up their children at the end of class. We keep contact information on file for your child in the event that we need to contact you during class time. There will be a staff member inside to check your child in. We also make sure that your child does not leave the building without you or a staff member.
If you are new to our program and would like to arrange a pre-class visit for your child to get comfortable with the space and to meet our staff we are more than happy to do that for you. Please let us know ASAP.
Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to allow parents to sit in the chairs in the dance studio or bring siblings to play while you wait. We will have your phone number on file and rest assured if we need to call you we will. There are several places in close proximity to us: K Brew, Three Rivers Market, The Donut Shop just to name a few.
